About Us

Expeditionary Energy LLC is a New York Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Its genesis is the culmination of over 25 years of military and national security experience, rooted on the understanding that our Nation’s security is inextricably linked to our economic well-being and our freedom to chart a clear and viable path to our own energy independence.

With this experience in hand, we recognize that whether a government, business, or private individual, sustaining success in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment requires anxious foresight to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.  Today, these conditions are even more amplified from the threat of a global pandemic and growing population centers reliant on carbon-based fuels that are jeopardizing our Earth’s climate and eco-systems. Governments and businesses alike are now dealing with a large percentage of their work force teleworking from home, which is increasing the energy burden and cost to individuals but also putting more pressure on antiquated electrical grids and networks across the U.S. and internationally. For this purpose, Expeditionary Energy LLC is designing, deploying, and delivering alternative clean-energy sources to address these challenges.  

Our home state, New York, is committed to clean energy by the year 2040 and our company is uniquely positioned to help our state, businesses, and private individuals contribute to this important goal. With our inhouse and strategic partnerships, Expeditionary Energy LLC will not only assist our home state of New York but we will assist our Nation’s government, businesses, and our citizens contribute to and reach their shared goals by building industry professionals and expertise, providing innovative designs, and rapidly deploying and delivering clean energy capabilities across the U.S. and internationally. From powering cities, military bases, to private individual homes, Expeditionary Energy LLC will provide the necessary expertise and commitment to grow clean energy initiatives.

About the Principals

Dave Dudas: President and managing partner at Expeditionary Energy
He is a former Colonel in the U.S. Army and disabled veteran with over 25 years of service that included both stateside and overseas assignments, notably operational deployments to the Middle East, South Asia, and the former Soviet Eastern Bloc. While working at the highest levels of our nation’s government, Dave helped develop strategy, policy, and plans that ensured the right blend of diplomacy, defense, and development where in place to secure our nation’s interests at home and abroad. He was a special advisor to Generals David Petraeus, Jim Mattis, and Lloyd Austin and holds a master’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy from Rutgers University in international relations and political science. 

Dean Fuller: Vice President of Operations
He has nearly 20 years of experience working in the solar industry and has worked on international- and national-level solar projects from Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Off the Grid Living

Expeditionary Energy was asked to design a new Outdoor Ministry Center (OMC) for Saint John Lutheran Church. The project consists of an 80 seat picnic area under cover along with 2 garages with separate doors. One garage would house the churches maintenance equipment. The other garage would allow the church’s chartered boy scout troop to store their camping trailer and gear.

Because of the location chosen on the property, the church would need to tear up their parking lot and add a few poles to bring electric and communication lines to the building. The municipality requires a fire alarm system, and the church wanted a security system.

Expeditionary Energy designed a solution using off grid technologies that will achieve all the requirements of the project without tearing up the parking lot, loosing parking spaces and still meet all the municipality’s requirements. Utilizing a roof mounted solar array and energy storage system, the OMC will have all the power it needs to conduct its services. It will also rent out the shelter for events such as graduation parties, receptions fund raisers and even scout meetings. The fire, smoke and security system will be connected by a cellular solution
